– 338,564 terjangkit Covid

– 1,396 orang maut akibat Covid

– 1,315 lagi kluster Covid dikesan

MCA And Umno – A Lesson Of Friendship And Betrayal……….

Its adamant attitude to stay with PN and not showing gratitude to Umno is a typical behaviour of true betrayal.

    Rosli Khan, Free Malaysia Today

I know politics is now a boring subject. People are fed up with politicians, too. But this piece is partly a history lesson. One needs to understand a bit of history in order to devise a stand for the future. Or better still, to mount a good fight.

This lesson is drawn from the factual accounts of what happened to MCA.

    MCA vs DAP

Traditionally, MCA used to contest in pockets of predominantly Chinese-majority seats and held seats mostly in the urban areas along the west coast with a concentration of Chinese businesses.
However, in 1966, DAP came into the picture. It contested for the first time in the 1969 general election. What started as a party of working-class heroes and labour unionists slowly began to chip away at the influence base of MCA, which was regarded as being full of “towkays”.

It was not long after that MCA found it had a serious opponent, just as its partner Umno had to contend with a breakaway faction called PAS.

After the 1969 debacle, Barisan Nasional (BN), a coalition of many parties, was formed by Abdul Razak Hussein in 1973. There was a political shift, a power play of some sort and a who-gets-what kind of arrangement.

As DAP was pushing hard for a Malaysian Malaysia, Umno, the dominant partner, found solace in PAS and also political funds from MCA. It, therefore, became kind enough to let MCA (and MIC too) contest under BN in many Malay marginal seats.

But MCA was never a service-oriented political party. Not only did it fail to uplift the Malays in the constituencies it won, it also let down the Chinese voters. By the early 1990s, the fumbling MCA ended up competing neck and neck with DAP for Chinese representation.

A couple of general elections later, MCA candidates became losers in many major urban seats such as Bukit Bintang, Petaling, Cheras, Kepong, Ipoh, Kota Melaka and Seremban.

MCA reached its peak with 31 parliamentary seats in 2004, thanks largely to Umno whose leaders lived up to the spirit of BN by allowing MCA to contest in Malay marginal seats.

These seats included Alor Gajah (Melaka), Air Hitam and Tanjung Piai (Johor), Selayang and Ampang (Selangor), Raub and Bentong (Pahang), all Malay marginal-majority seats.

If it wasn’t for this consideration from Umno, MCA would have been wiped out a long time ago.

Another turning point in Malaysia’s political landscape was the emergence and acceptance of PKR as a multiracial party by many urban voters in early 2000. This was also a major factor in MCA’s decline.

DAP was by now a heavyweight in many key Chinese constituencies, and PKR, with young and upcoming faces in places like Ampang, Pandan, Selayang and Tanjung Malim, was a force to be reckoned with, resulting in MCA’s popularity continuing to decline.

By 2008, MCA managed to win only 15 parliamentary seats. In Penang, like Gerakan, MCA was defeated in all the seats it contested. By contrast, Umno remained intact with 11 state seats and several parliamentary seats in the state.

In 2013, the results were much worse for MCA. Its seats in Parliament dwindled down to seven. Yet, it continued to be trusted by long-time partner Umno and continued to get ministerial posts, including that of the transport ministry and the international trade and industry ministry.

The year 2018 must have been MCA’s worst nightmare. It won only a single parliamentary seat – Air Hitam, a 58% Malay-majority seat, courtesy of Umno members who gave their votes to MCA leader Wee Ka Siong.

With DAP winning 42 parliamentary seats and PKR taking 49, many predicted the end of the road for MCA.

    Bersatu factor

In 2019, the charitable Umno again allowed another MCA leader to stand for BN in the Tanjung Piai by-election against a candidate from Bersatu in a seat which has a Malay majority of about 57%.

That by-election clearly demonstrated Umno’s collective concept of sharing and the practical aspects of a multiracial coalition, which many voters overlooked during the excitement of GE14.

However, as it turned out, the February leap year of 2020 was a political nightmare of a different kind to those in Pakatan Harapan (PH), except for Bersatu.

A total of eight Bersatu MPs, plus another 13 ex-Umno “ranid” MPs, with 10 PKR MPs, betrayed their own parties and partners in PH. As a result, PH collapsed and lost control of the government.

That infamous “Sheraton move” culminated in a new coalition called Perikatan Nasional, which many right-minded Malaysians simply cannot accept.

BN (including the two-seat MCA) cooperated with PN to form this new government that we now have.

    Umno’s threat

But as predicted by many seasoned political observers, this PN coalition is not likely to last long.

If it wasn’t for the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the declaration of an emergency and the suspension of Parliament, the PN-led government would have collapsed by now.

The once-powerful Umno has not been a very happy coalition member of PN. It has kept threatening to pull out from the PN government but has yet to do so. Its long-time partners in BN – MCA and MIC – appear reluctant to follow suit.

Herein lies the irony of the present political landscape in the country. Those who were previously very much against Umno in GE14, are now back supporting Umno’s initiative to “pull the plug” on PN. They can’t wait for Umno to get its act together.

MCA, however, is indifferent. Its adamant attitude to stay with PN and not showing gratitude to Umno is a typical behaviour of true betrayal.

Many pundits are suggesting that GE15 will witness MCA’s demise and a total rejection of politicians who practice treachery and display deceitful behaviour.

Over the years, this party has clearly demonstrated that it is only in it for the business opportunities that incumbency offers. As a party, MCA is a spent political force. What added value can it offer Umno?

SKANDAL2 DORAEMON, PAK DAJJAL, NOBITA LESAPKAN DUIT RAKYAT SEHINGGAKAN RINGGIT MERUDUM……..

Tommy Thomas’s And Guan Eng’s Dirty Hands Finally Revealed……….

But what is even more shocking is the revelation that former Attorney-General Tommy Thomas buried the cases against another 346 recipients of 1MDB’s money totalling more than RM307 million.

It looks like the Perikatan Nasional government is more serious about recovering 1MDB’s stolen money than the Pakatan Harapan government was. And the Pakatan Harapan government had 22 months to recover 1MDB’s money while the Perikatan Nasional government is doing everything in just one year.

Even more important than that, the Pakatan Harapan government was targeting to recover just US$1.5 billion or roughly RM6.1 billion. The Perikatan Nasional government, however, is targeting for more than RM100 billion or not less than US$24 billion.

Yes, RM6.1 billion for Pakatan Harapan versus more than RM100 billion for Perikatan Nasional. If that does not knock your socks off, then I don’t know what will.

But what is even more shocking is the revelation that former Attorney-General Tommy Thomas buried the cases against another 346 recipients of 1MDB’s money totalling more than RM307 million.

1MDB’s lawyer, Rosli Dahlan, is about to rock Malaysia with a new revelation concerning 1MDB, Tommy Thomas and Lim Guan Eng
Investigations have revealed that the majority of these 346 recipients are Chinese supporters of DAP from Penang. It seems former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng had asked Tommy Thomas to ‘bury’ these cases.

The impression that Pakatan Harapan wanted to give is that only the Umno Malays stole from 1MDB. Investigations have now revealed that the DAP Chinese also received quite a lot of money from 1MDB. And, according to insiders, 1MDB’s lawyers are about to file suits against these 346 recipients of 1MDB’s money.

So there you are. The 1MDB scandal is not a Malay Umno scandal. It is also a DAP Chinese scandal. And once the 346 suits are filed, Malaysians will be able to see the list of names involved.

Lim Kit Siang is worried that the revelation concerning 1MDB and DAP is about to explode

Even more damaging would be the revelation that Tommy Thomas buried these cases at the behest of Lim Guan Eng. Yes, Najib Tun Razak’s SRC case is RM42 million. These new cases about to be filed come to RM307 million.

What was that again which Pakatan Harapan screamed about? Selective prosecution? Yes, Pakatan Harapan should know since they are the experts of selective prosecution.

Over to you Lokman Adam. And you can quote that this was what Raja Petra Bin Raja Kamarudin revealed today in Malaysia Today — which is 346 civil suits totalling RM307 million are about to be filed, and cases which Tommy Thomas buried at the behest of Lim Guan Eng.

SKANDAL JIBENG DUIT DAPAT BALIK DAN RINGGIT STABIL…….

The Truth Behind The “Backdoor Government”………..

Pakatan Harapan is trying to give the impression that the final say regarding who gets to form the government and who gets to become the prime minister lies in the hands of the voters. Nonsense! In the Westminster parliamentary system, the voters have no say about anything. You just vote and then go home. After that the MPs decide everything.

Until today, the Kluster anti-Perikatan Nasional are still insisting that Muhyiddin Yassin is a backdoor prime minister and the Perikatan Nasional is an illegal government. How do they come to that conclusion? Well, the the main point they have raised is that the Prime Minister and the Perikatan government did not receive the mandate of the voters.

That is not true. All the 220 members of parliament (it was 222 MPs in May 2018) were elected to office in the 14th general election. And they all took their oath of office. Hence, they are constitutionally legal members of parliament. None of them were appointed to office.

The fact that they changed parties does not change anything because Malaysia does not have any anti-hopping laws. Pakatan Harapan said they would be introducing such a law, but when they came to office they did not. And this is because Pakatan Harapan also wanted to entice Barisan Nasional MPs to cross over. Hence that law would work against Pakatan Harapan and would hinder them from stealing Barisan Nasional MPs.

So, for purely selfish reasons, Pakatan Harapan did not want any anti-hopping law, after promising they would introduce that law if they ever came to power. And this cost Pakatan Harapan the government.

Pakatan Harapan is embarrassed about the whole matter. So they are trying to shift the blame for their collapse to Muhyiddin Yassin, Azmin Ali, Hamzah Zainudin, and so on. In essence, they are saying that Pakatan Harapan is a victim of betrayal.

What betrayal? This is politics. In politics there is no such thing as betrayal. Changing alliances and crossing over are part and parcel of the game of politics. Till death do us part is a fallacy. It only happens in fairy tales, not in real life.

Pakatan Harapan is misleading the people into believing that the Agong has no say about who gets to form the government or becomes the prime minister

Those who have no stomach for such political games have no business playing politics or talking about politics. It is like war. If you want to go to war and expect zero losses, then you are not only naïve but an idiot as well. Of course people die in wars. And many of those people who die would be innocent non-combatants and civilians. That is the price of war.

Pakatan Harapan is trying to give the impression that the power to decide lies with the voters and the voters decide who should be the government. That is utter nonsense. The only rights the voters have is to mark the ballot paper and put it into the ballot box on polling day. Other than that, the voters have absolutely no rights. And if you do not like what happens after you vote, you will have to wait until the next general election to vote again.

Once you have voted you go home. They will then count the ballot papers to decide who won the contest for those 222 parliament seats. Then they will decide who from those 222 people who won the election gets to become the prime minister.

Yes, those 222 MPs will decide who becomes prime minister, not the 12 million voters who voted in the general election. The 12 million voters have no say regarding who becomes the prime minister. Only the 222 MPs do.

One of those 222 MPs will then offer himself or herself to become prime minister. In the past, it has always been the president of the party that won the highest number of seats. But that has merely been the tradition. It was never the law.

Anyone from one of those 222 MPs can be prime minister. It can even be a woman who is not Malay or not Muslim. It can even be an MP who is not the president of a party. It can even be an MP who is from a party that won the least number of seats in the election.

Muhyiddin is not a backdoor prime minister or Perikatan an illegal government according to Malaysia’s Westminster parliamentary system
In short, it can be anyone who can convince Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong that he or she has the support of the majority of the 222 MPs.

    What about the voters?

The voters? The voters have already voted. So their job ends there. If they are not happy then they wait until the next general election to express their unhappiness through the ballot box. The voters have no say regarding who gets to form the government and who gets to become the prime minister. Only the Agong has.

Assuming Malaysia decides to declare war on China. Do the voters have a say in that? Maybe a million Malaysians are going to die in that war with China. So why do the voters have no say? No, the voters have no say. The government decides on behalf of the voters even if that decision results in one million deaths.

For 100 years America has been sending its children overseas to fight and die in wars. Even those who survive come home with medical, psychological, and social problems and are no longer ‘normal’ people. Americans have been protesting these wars for 60 years. But nothing happens. Until today, America is still fighting wars in other countries. What the voters want, or do not want, means nothing in the end.

PHD4PIG PENGGANAS KOMUNIS LTTE PENYEMBAH BABI………

Babi. K’jaan DAP buat apa? Tak hormat orang Islam. Cis!!…..

– HARAKAHDAILY 5/5/2021

“The insider said the country now needed a strong government, one that would reconvene Parliament.

He also said he had been told that some politicians, including an Umno leader and a former prime minister, were already planning for the possibility of having an interim government to rule the country before the next general election.

“I understand they are already assembling their teams.” FMT
